Division Director Candidates Program

Overview

Eligible participants: Division Director candidates from central government agencies

Duration: Three days (16 sessions a year)
* One to two sessions per month, conducted from February to December

Number of participants: 560 officials (35 per session)

Objectives

• This program aims to cultivate high-performing managers through practice-oriented training in the core competencies required of division directors.

• This program is also designed to provide participants with opportunities for self-initiated competency development based on the results of a competency diagnosis.

Focus of the Program

• This program focuses on recognition of participants' competency levels through pre-competency diagnoses and support for the establishment of a self-initiated competency development plan.



• It also emphasizes enhancing the core competences required of division director-level officials through simulation practice sessions based on real working situations and feedback via reciprocal peer observation.
