Greetings,

The National Human Resources Development Institute (NHI) is committed to fostering capable public officials, aspiring toward a competency-based nation and a country that leads humanity forward.

Since its establishment in 1949, NHI has served as Korea’s premier institution for nurturing key national talents, contributing to the nation’s growth and progress.

Today, NHI seeks to develop public officials who will help guide human civilization, drawing on the strength of Korea’s global presence known as the Korean Wave. To this end, we are:

⦁ Reinforcing education on constitutional values, governing principles, and public service ethics,

⦁ Innovating the quality of training and development to foster key talents for public service,

⦁ Expanding research and strengthening our role as a hub for innovation in public HRD, and

⦁ Deepening global exchanges and cooperation - leveraging the “K-Initiative” - to help usher in a new human renaissance.

Korea now stands at a critical turning point. We are entering an unprecedented era of hyper-technology, an age of boundless AI competition, and a time of global uncertainty - circumstances that make the future more difficult to foresee than ever before.

NHI will continue to innovate its training programs and advance research to nurture public officials with the problem-solving capabilities essential in this era of profound transformation. In doing so, we remain steadfast in our mission: to build a nation founded on competence and to help Korea take a leap forward as a country that leads humanity.

We sincerely thank you for your continued interest in and support for the National Human Resources Development Institute.
